Great location close to restaurants, theatres, CBD and shopping · Friendly, helpful and professional staff · Daily hosted hour with complimentary drinks · Very clean rooms · Comfortable beds and good linens · Well-stocked minibar and useful in-room tech (Bose speaker, Apple TV) · Rooftop deck and pleasant common amenities · Excellent value for money (frequently mentioned)
Breakfast quality/price frequently criticized (continental-only, not worth price) · Noise issues for some rooms (street/pub noise, early delivery trucks) · Some rooms small or face a brick wall limiting light · Aging or awkward fittings in places (shower head, tap placement, old jug) · Dining in foyer felt inappropriate during check-in for some guests · Air conditioner controls not intuitive in at least one room · Weird/unsuitable elevator video noted · Some areas of the property starting to look a little tired
