Booking terms & FAQ

The short version of how booking with us works. Ask us anything that isn't covered here.

Who provides the rooms?: Rooms and rates come from our hotel distribution partners, who hold contracts with the hotels. Your booking is confirmed directly with the hotel's system.
Is the price final?: The price shown is the total for your stay, including the taxes the hotel lets us collect. Some destinations charge local taxes or resort fees at the hotel; when they do, we show them before you pay.
How do I pay?: By card on a secure payment form run by a licensed payment provider. Your card details never reach our servers.
Can I cancel?: It depends on the rate. Free-cancellation rates show the deadline in your local hotel time. Non-refundable rates can't be cancelled. You can cancel from My bookings or from Find a booking.
When will I get my confirmation?: Right after payment, on screen. Keep the booking ID: with it and your email you can find the booking any time.
What do I need at check-in?: A photo ID matching the lead guest's name and, at many hotels, a card for incidentals.
